Job description

GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a Class 2 Multidrop Driver on behalf of one of our customers in Huntingdon, the Lightning Park area. You will be a frontline representative of the company, responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of secure shipments to and from our Service Centre and Hub facilities. The post holder is directly responsible for enhancing the customer experience at every stage through a conscientious and dedicated approach to tasks.

The role involves multi-drop deliveries (up to 10 drops per day), ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time.

We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

• Hourly Rate: £18.40 per hour
• Shift Premium: Extra £2.71 per hour after 7.00 pm
• Saturday Premium: Extra £1.18 per hour
• Sunday Premium: Extra £2.20 per hour
• Overtime is paid after 45 hours at time and a half

Job Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries (up to 10 drops per day), ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time.

• Ensuring the security of shipments and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Job Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop experience preferred.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Commitment to working safely within the EU Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• At least 21 years old and no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years (insurance purposes).
