• Current and valid Class 2 driver’s licence and CPC driver’s card.

• Experience in a customer-facing role.

Overview

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will have the opportunity to be involved in delivering stock, supporting warehouse staff, building relationships with customers, and using your local knowledge to deliver safely on time.

Responsibilities

• Drive lorries up to 26 tonnes and deliver stock to customers.
• Support Driver's Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Build excellent working relationships with customers and other departments.
• Use your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on time.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Class 2 driver’s licence and CPC driver’s card.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving health and safety legislation.
• Local area knowledge.
• Customer service experience.
• Manual handling experience and/or training desirable; full training will be provided during induction.
