Overview

Location: Tipton & Wolverhampton (Shifts sometimes available at Tipton & Smethwick also)

Salary: £20.39 - £28.30 (Overtime rate after 8 hours per shift)

Shifts: Monday - Sunday, AFTERNOON SHIFTS ONLY 12:00 PM - 22:00 PM

HGV 1 Driver required for a position with our well-known Courier Company.

We have a prestigious company that has operated in the UK for many years, becoming a highly recognised and respected business within the Transport / Parcel delivery service Sector.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks and complete any required defects paperwork.
• Trunking work and national deliveries are expected.
• 1 - 4 drops per day; handball not required.
• Tachograph card to be downloaded prior to any shift; assessment may be required.
• Start times vary all throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Clean full UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 6 months.
• Valid tachograph and full CPC training.
• The ability to work in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Actively seeking ongoing work.

About the job

The HGV driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and the required defects paperwork. Tachograph information and assessments may be required.
