Overview

Are you ready to take up a vital role in shaping projects as a Civil Pipeline Engineer? Join our diverse and inclusive team working on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to contribute to iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. We specialise in water engineering within the sector and deliver across aviation, defence, energy and cities & development. We provide water transmission solutions across the project lifecycle with client-side support as well as during construction. Opportunities are available in our Manchester, Leeds & Glasgow offices.

Responsibilities
  • Work in and lead teams to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Input into briefs, scopes of work, and bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
Qualifications
  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Knowledge of pipeline design delivery, including engagement of multidisciplinary design resources.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pipe restraint and jointing, pipeline materials, bedding and UTX.
  • Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following local and national guidance, e.g. HADES, InfoWorks, EPANET.
