Overview

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Civil Engineer to be an active member of a well-established civil and structural engineer consultancy, in a permanent position. As the successful candidate, you will be required to work on-site from our client's office near Leeds, in which you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and office car park projects, as an asset to a highly skilled team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop civil engineering designs, from concept to detailed design, across a variety of projects, with a large focus on earthworks and drainage.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation aligned with regulations and client needs.
  • Ensure all work meets health & safety standards, sustainability objectives, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor site-based operations by conducting inspections, carrying out surveys, and verifying as-built conditions against design specifications.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, with experience ranging from a graduate level, with 3+ years of experience, to a senior level engineer.
  • Must have extensive experience with Civil3D, Infodrainage and Microdrainage, and data centre projects.
  • Prior experience working on Drainage, Earthworks, and Cut and fill.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards (ICE preferred).
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
  • Strong communicator with problem-solving and teamwork skills
