A local government authority in Beeston is seeking a Civil Enforcement Officer Technician. This role involves patrolling parking areas, ensuring compliance with regulations, and interacting with the public regarding parking provisions. Strong observational skills, experience with Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), and good customer care abilities are essential. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of traffic management and customer service. The position includes flexible working hours and numerous employee benefits.
Grade (5) £26,899 to £28,320 37 Hour working week on a rotational basis. The working hours and patterns will be discussed at interview.

We are looking for a Civil Enforcement Officer‑Technician to assist with patrolling Council owned parking places on foot and by vehicle, ensuring full compliance throughout the Borough, providing frontline enforcement duties in accordance with the Council’s off‑street parking place orders and relevant government legislation. Guiding the public on rules and advise about parking provisions. Reporting any defects to street furniture, such as signs, markings and general car parking facilities.
The role will require you to be physically able to undertake the duties of this post and be able to walk long distance and flights of stairs where required. Rotational hours outside normal hours will be required. You will also be required to hold a full driving licence.
There will be a short test as part of the interview.
