A leading care organization in Saltash seeks a Deputy Manager to support young people aged 8-18. You will play a crucial role in their daily routines, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Pay: £15.29 - £16.01 per hour plus £30 sleep in rate

As a Deputy Manager you will support young people with their daily routines; Getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
Develop a management style that balances the need to exercise control and give direction with the need to offer staff the opportunity to take decisions.
Take responsibility for planning shifts and ensuring their smooth running when on duty.
Take a leading role to ensure that each member of staff is aware of each child’s placement plan and their responsibilities for its implementation.
Attend childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information and achieve best outcomes for young people.
Undertake direct work with young people and act as an appropriate role model.
Work in partnership with parents, carers and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.
Develop in consultation with young people and staff routines in relation to all aspects of child care
