Overview

Prospero Health and Social Care is currently recruiting experienced staff for waking nights support for Children in the Leeds and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Everyday is different and you will face new challenges, we need staff members with a can-do attitude, that are willing to go above and beyond for the children in their care to better their lives, promoting independence, being a role model and achieving a successful home environment for them to live, in line with local authority care plan.

Requirements
  • 12 months paid experience within the health and social care sector in the UK
  • Previous experience in a support worker, youth work is essential
  • Flexible around travel arrangements
  • Able to work flexibly (good availability)
  • Resilient and empathetic, with a strong commitment to helping vulnerable young people
  • NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (desired but not essential)
  • Social Care registered
Experience
  • Children and Young People Support: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
