Job summary

A dedicated residential care provider in Wigan seeks a Children's Residential Support Worker to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to care for young people aged 7-18 with challenging behaviours, including ADHD and autism. Children's Residential Support Worker

As a small, independent provider of Residential care for young people aged 7 -18 across the North West, our aim is simple, to provide excellent care, support and guidance and provide our young people with a place they can call home and make lasting memories.

We have an exciting opening for a Residential Support Worker based in our established home in Greater Manchester for young people with challenging behaviours, ADHD and autism. The home is modern and welcoming and can accommodate up to 2 young people as they navigate into adulthood.

Passion, commitment and resilience are just some of the requirements we look for in our team, also the ability to work in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same this makes the role unique in the sense as you will deal with different challenges daily.

All applicants must have a minimum of 12 months' UK based experience working in an Ofsted registered residential home with young people and a Level 3 qualification would be preferred.

A full UK driving licence would be essential. Please note no sponsorship will be available for this position now or in the future.

Shifts will be a mix of early, late and sleeps as the home is operational 24 hours day you will be expected to work some weekends and bank holidays. Rota's will be available in advance to ensure you can achieve the perfect work/life balance. Rota pattern will be 2 on 4 off.

Starting salary for the role will be £34,320-£36,320, dependent on experience this is based on 169 hours per month and a sleep bonus of £75 for each completed sleep (up to 10 per month).
