Job description

We're seeking a talented Children's Registered Home Manager to join us on our exciting journey, based at one of our Children's Homes in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and dedicated Registered Manager to manage a home in a unique setting during a period of real company growth. We'll give you all the support you need to lead and develop your team to create a loving, stable environment to ensure each young person is achieving positive outcomes and learning experiences. Exceptional Care believes that consistency in care is paramount to children/young people with complex needs, to this end we are committed to developing and maintaining good communicative relationships with the child/young person.

Essential Criteria
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence
  • 2 years' experience in a children's residential setting dealing with children with complex needs at senior level (you could be an outstanding Deputy Manager looking for progression).
  • Level 3 or 4 Children and Young Peoples Workforce (CYPW) or equivalent.
Desired Criteria
  • Level 5 Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent.
  • Previous Ofsted rating of GOOD or Outstanding, NVQ L5 Leadership and Management.

Compensation and benefits:

  • Up to £70,000 (Total reward package).
