An innovative care provider in the UK seeks a Children's Adventure Care Worker to support and nurture young people's emotional development through therapeutic care and activities. Hours: 4 days on, 6 days off (with sleep nights). We are a 365 day a year service due to the nature of our work. Rotas are given in advance.
This is a temporary role to cover maternity leave, but may lead to a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Pay rate : £38,475 to £40,815 per annum.
Woodside Farm is a beautifully renovated property based in the countryside outside Shifnal, providing an excellent setting for a therapeutic assessment home. Using a trauma-informed approach, the team provides intervention care that supports emotional healing and personal development for up to two young people at a time.
Over a 12 week placement, our assessment strategy helps us understand what is truly right for a young person and their needs.
Every placement provides PACE principles, therapeutic care, access to education and the opportunity to participate in an outdoor adventure programme.
The work and commitment of our teams helps us to determine what support a young person requires and defines their next steps.

Estimated salary based on a pay rate of £12.75 to £13.75 per hour for days (depending on qualifications held) and working 12 sleep‑nights per month on average (at £60 per sleep night).
