A leading FE College in Lancashire is seeking a committed Childcare/Early Years Trainer Assessor for a full-time, temporary position. Responsibilities include delivering training, supporting learners, and conducting assessments across Lancashire. A recognised Trainer/Assessor qualification and strong digital skills are essential. The role offers an hourly rate of £30 - £35 with a 37.5-hour work week.

Qualifications

  • A recognised Trainer/Assessor qualification is essential.
  • Experience in Early Years and/or Teaching Assistant pathways is preferable.
  • Strong digital skills to manage remote learning platforms are required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging training and assessment using OneFile.
  • Set and mark work, provide feedback, and conduct timely progress reviews.
  • Support learners with personal development, maths, and English modules.

Job Opportunity: Childcare/Early Years Trainer Assessor (Temporary)

Locations: Lancashire - including Morecambe, Lancaster, Ormskirk, Haslingden, Accrington, Nelson, and Preston

Type: Temporary, Full-time - 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Rate: £30 - £35 per hour

Eden Brown are looking for a committed and qualified Childcare/Early Years Trainer Assessor to join a leading FE College in Lancashire, on a full-time, temporary basis.

Standards You\'ll Support
  • Early Years Pathway:
    • Early Years Practitioner - Level 3
    • Early Years Educator - Level 3
    • Early Years Lead Practitioner - Level 5 (Level 5 not essential)
  • Teaching Assistant Pathway:
    • Teaching Assistant - Level 3
    • Specialist Teaching Assistant - Level 5 (Level 5 not essential)
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging training and assessment using OneFile
  • Set and mark work, provide feedback, and conduct timely progress reviews
  • Support learners with personal development, maths, and English modules (via CENTURY)
  • Assist with preparation for End Point Assessments (EPA), including portfolio support and mock exams
  • Travel to learners across Lancashire as needed
What You\'ll Need
  • A recognised Trainer/Assessor qualification - essential
  • Experience in either or both pathways (Early Years and/or Teaching Assistant)
  • Flexibility to travel across the region
  • Strong digital skills to manage and support remote learning platforms
  • A DBS is also needed for this role
