Responsibilities

• Advise senior leadership and the board of directors on corporate governance matters.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Lead the company’s legal risk management efforts.
• Oversee and manage external litigation and regulatory investigations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external law firms.
• Oversee legal documentation and archives compliance.
• Monitor changes in laws and advise on potential impacts.
• Support legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.
• Oversee internal legal review and management of contracts.

Skills

Law Degree

Postgraduate Qualification (LLM in Corporate Law, International Law, or Compliance)

Professional Certifications in corporate governance

10+ years of legal experience

Experience advising senior leadership and boards

Hands-on experience with M&As

Familiarity with international legal frameworks

Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
