Job Title: Chemistry Teacher

Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm
Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 (depending on experience)

A high-achieving secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a Chemistry Teacher to join its thriving Science department from January 2026. The role will primarily involve teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach A-Level Chemistry for the right candidate.

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Chemistry across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional).
  • Plan, prepare, and assess in line with national curriculum requirements.
  • Differentiate learning to support pupils of all abilities, including SEN and EAL.
  • Support students with GCSE preparation through effective teaching and targeted interventions.
  • Contribute to enrichment activities such as science clubs, trips, and competitions.
  • QTS and experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Science.
  • Ability to inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for Chemistry in students.
