Overview

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will be care planning, teamwork, clinical leadership, communication, carrying out policy and procedure and education/mentorship of staff/students.

This post supports 24/7 service delivery within the North Sector theatres and a flexible skill set is essential for this role.

You will be a team leader of a fast paced theatre with responsibility of managing patient care and staff within theatre to support a flexible service. You will work closely with the Senior Charge Nurse to achieve targets within the theatre department.

The expectation of the role would be to work flexible shifts if required this may include day shift, night shift, weekends and out of hours emergency hub cover.

Qualifications

It is also essential you have evidence of continual development, IT skills, good communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a Theatre environment.
