Job summary

A catering service provider in Ulverston is seeking a Catering Assistant to perform various food production tasks in schools. Job description

We are hiring for a Catering Assistant at St Mary's, Ulverston to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends, making it ideal for those seeking flexibility.

The role includes:
  • £12.21 per hour
  • 17.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday
  • Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year
Your key responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
  • Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
  • Keeping the kitchen, counter, and restaurant areas clean and tidy
  • Providing friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers
  • Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
