A local healthcare organization in West Bromwich is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant for its Hallam Restaurant. Responsibilities include making fresh sandwiches, serving customers, and maintaining high standards of service. Candidates must have previous catering experience, be outgoing, and possess a Level 2 NVQ in Customer Service. The role requires flexibility in hours and duties. This is a permanent position with 20 hours per week and a salary of £24,465 pro-rata per annum.
The catering department at Sandwell Health Campus is looking to recruit a part‑time experienced Catering Assistant to work within the Hallam Restaurant. The post involves making fresh sandwiches, serving customers, handling cash, completing control paperwork and general cleaning.
Applicants must have previous catering experience with high standards of work, be an outgoing, hard‑working and enthusiastic individual that is able to work on their own initiative.
Hours: 20 hours per week.
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday – 10:00 am to 14:00 pm.
Applicants are required to be flexible in their approach to hours and duties and able to work additional shifts as and when required.
