Job description

The Trust has recently launched a new in-house catering service and is now seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant to support the catering team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent catering and customer service skills.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the highest possible standards of customer service to students, staff and visitors.
  • Carry out instructions received from Assistant Cook/Chef Manager.
  • Complete basic food preparation & cooking e.g. sandwiches, salads, vegetables.
  • Wash dishes, cutlery, tumblers, jugs, serving utensils, containers, tables and all other catering equipment in the dining and service areas.
  • Ensure food hygiene and health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
