A leading ambient food business based in Surrey is looking for a talented Category Insights Manager to join their dynamic and collaborative team. This award-winning company supplies all major UK retailers and foodservice customers with both branded and own-label products, and offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful business.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Sales & Marketing Director to provide detailed, account-specific category insights and high-quality market analysis.
  • Develop compelling customer presentations, make proactive recommendations based on market trends, and support the wider sales and marketing teams with strategic insight.
  • Use insights to shape decisions across the business, from product development to customer strategy.
Person specification / Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a data analytics role, ideally within the food or wider FMCG sector
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to present complex data clearly and effectively
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience using Circana, NielsenIQ, or Kantar platforms is highly desirable
  • Degree educated and any additional analytics or market research qualifications would be an additional benefit
