The family is seeking a nanny who can build a genuine bond with their son and actively engage in the activities he enjoys, such as imaginative play, creative crafts, and outdoor adventures. He will thrive with someone who is enthusiastic about joining in and encouraging his interests. They are looking for a warm, caring, and passionate individual who loves working with children and will become a valued part of their household.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the child’s evening meal, with the possibility of batch cooking, and provide healthy snacks.
• Support family needs with general household tasks related to the children, such as managing the children’s laundry and keeping their areas neat and organised.
• Plan and deliver full-day activities and outings during school holidays to support learning and development.
• Be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence (driving required).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a nanny.
• 12-hour Paediatric First Aid and Enhanced DBS (update).
• Level 3 Childcare advantageous.
• Festive driving ability and a clean driving licence (already noted under responsibilities).

Job Details

• Location: Danbury, Essex.
• Hours of work: Term Time: 2:00pm – 6:00pm; School Holidays: 9:00am – 5:00pm.
• Days required: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Pets in the home: A friendly dog.
• Driving required: Yes.
• Job Start Date: As soon as possible.
• Pay: £18 Gross per hour, £14,256 Gross per Annum.
• This is a permanent position.
