A primary school in Twickenham is seeking a Caretaker to join its friendly team, focusing on site maintenance and management. The successful candidate will play a proactive role in ensuring compliance with health and safety and maintaining the campus. We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident individual with experience in building maintenance and security to join our friendly team at Orleans Primary School. The role involves a wide range of site maintenance and management duties, requiring a flexible, dedicated, and proactive approach, as well as a willingness to support the vision and ethos of the school.
Contract: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, permanent contract
Pay Scale: NJC 5 to 6 - SCP 12 to 20 depending on experience
Salary: £32,535 to £36,585
Working pattern: Morning shift 7:15am to 9:15am. Afternoon shift 12:00pm to 5:30pm

Under the direction of the School Business Manager, the postholder will play a proactive role in the effective day-to-day operation and the ongoing short- and long-term maintenance of the school buildings and grounds. The role includes ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety requirements and maintaining up-to-date risk assessments at all times.
