We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team inTunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and Edenbridgeas a CAREGiver. As a CAREGiver, you willprovide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.
You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a CAREGiver. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional relationships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
This involves spending time with the regular clients, building great working relationships. Being someone’s only person they might see for the day, giving companionship. Putting a smile on some ones face. Being supportive and being there if they have lost confidence to help them toshower or bathe. Helping with housework, planning their meals and going out shopping. Accompany to hospital appointments or social events. Listening to the stories of their lives, finding out about the person you are sharing time with. Being a team together.
