Responsibilities

Personal Care

  • Support with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming and toilet
  • Assist with mobility and safe transfers in and out of beds etc
  • Use of mobility aids when required

Health & Medication Support

  • Assist with medication: administration or reminders as prescribed
  • Support with feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration

Emotional & Social Support

  • Offer companionship
  • Encourage social interaction and help clients stay connected with loved ones
  • Provide reassurance and emotional wellbeing

Domestic Assistance

  • Help with light household tasks including cleaning, laundry and meal prep
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

Communication & Documentation

  • Record and report changes in health, mood, or behaviour
  • Communicate clearly with family members, healthcare professionals, and other team members

Personal Advocacy

  • Empower individuals to make choices and decisions about their care
  • Ensure clients’ rights and dignity are upheld at all times
What We’re Looking For

Experience: Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.

Communication Skills: Strong spoken and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively.

Drivers License: A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends.

Access NI enhanced disclosure check will be performed for the post-We adhere to the Access NI code of practice.
