Monday to Thursday 14:00 - 19:00 pm (Friday 18:30pm)

Working alongside the practice business and compliance lead

Main duties of the job

Part time post to support a variety of administrative duties within the practice -

  • Processing medical records requests
  • Supporting patient triage and appointment requests
  • Scanning of patient documents
  • Answering calls

Job responsibilities
  • Reviewing and processing patient tasks
  • Assisting with administrative tasks
  • Computer data entry/data allocation and collation; processing and recording information in accordance with practice procedures
  • Initiating contact with and responding to requests from patients, other team member and associated healthcare agencies and providers
  • Providing administration assistance as required from time to time, including filing, photocopying and scanning
  • Processing repeat prescriptions in accordance with practice guidelines
Person Specification
Qualifications
  • Experience working within a healthcare environment minimum of 2 years
