We work in and around South Shields, Hebburn and Jarrow.

We believe in a holistic approach to care and are looking for someone who can join us as a Senior Care Worker/Care Lead and who can support our organisational objectives and the care team to provide outstanding care in the community.

Someone who either has, or is willing to work towards a Level 5 Qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Social Care but who already has at least a Level 3 Qualification.

The person who we would like to join us must exhibit strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills and who naturally fosters a positive and supportive team culture, putting others at ease and promoting collaboration.

Education and must have:
  • Experience in a home care setting is essential.
  • Support the Manager with implementation of all policies, procedures and business objectives and support with staff training and development. Conduct supervisions and induction of new staff.
  • Take part in the on call rota, providing out of hours support when needed.
  • Proficient IT skills for maintaining client records and documentation using computer and a telephone app.
  • Strong communication of English, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective communication.
  • Ability to both prepare and implement care plans accurately, assist with audits and liaise with healthcare professionals acting in line with CQC guidelines.
  • A caring attitude with a passion for helping others.
  • Valid driving license and own transport.
