A care service provider in Derby is looking for a passionate night-time care assistant. You will provide essential personal care, assist with mobility, and ensure residents' needs are met throughout the night. Ideal candidates will have a valid DBS certificate and UK care experience. This role offers £12.75 per hour with flexible night shifts.

Are you a night owl with a passion for care? We have flexible night shifts available, offering weekly pay for the hours you work!

As an experienced night-time care assistant, you will be working alongside the existing friendly and experienced team to deliver the very best of care. The elderly residents are living with various age-related illnesses, with the home predominately providing care to those living with various levels of Dementia.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care to the residents.
• Assisting the residents with their mobility (including use of Hoists)
• Undertaking frequent observation checks throughout the night and ensuring that these are recorded correctly.
• Undertaking the repositioning of residents as and when required by their care plans.
• Responding promptly and professionally to residents’ needs throughout the night.
• Undertaking domestic duties as required.
• Ensuring that health and safety procedures are always followed.

Requirements

• An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service
• Up to date mandatory training certificates
• Full up-to-date CV
• A referenceable work history with at least 3 months of UK based care experience within a care or nursing home

You will be working on Saturdays and/or Sundays with typical hours being: 07:00 to 14:30, 14:00 to 21:00, 07:00 to 21:00

You will be paid £12.75 per hour
