We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join the team; the role focuses on the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents, including assistance with personal care, daily activities, and providing compassionate support.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. All colleagues attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and are encouraged to report concerns or escalate when action is not taken.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care activities (washing, dressing, personal hygiene) and meals.
  • Support general activities within the home and help residents maintain independence and dignity.
  • Provide care with empathy, including support for residents with limited mobility and end-of-life care where appropriate.
  • Recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know how to report concerns.
