Overview
Care Assistant (Social Care) – Permanent with guaranteed hours. Full time or part-time options available; includes working every other weekend. Shifts: 7am – 1.30pm and 4pm – 10.30pm.
Responsibilities
- As a Care Assistant in reablement, help customers regain independence and continue living in their own home. This may include relearning skills such as personal care, mobility and meal preparation.
- Work with a mentor after induction training until you are confident in the role.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Full driving licence and own vehicle is essential.
- Access to a car and business insurance required due to travel across Harold Hill and surrounding areas (Hornchurch, Upminster, Romford, Gidea Park, Harold Wood, Rainham, Collier Row, Emerson Park, Elm Park, Corbet’s Tey).
- Willingness to travel around the specified area as part of the role.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.

- Salary: £13.85 per hour
- Mileage: 45p per mile tax-free
