Job Title: Care Assistant - Days

Salary*: £12.80ph plus incentives

Hours: Full Time, 7am - 7pm, 3 shifts a week to include alternate weekends

Location: Walkeringham, DN10 4LD

A little about South Moor Lodge

South Moor Lodge is located in the village of Walkeringham (5 miles west of Gainsborough). The home is centred around a nineteenth century barn, extended to provide homeliness while offering modern living accommodation. It sits within two acres of landscaped grounds and provides personal and dementia care for 41 residents.

Day to Day Responsibilities for Care Assistant
  • You will join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting residents in all aspects of daily living, including personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating
  • You will promote residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, and promote their physical and emotional wellbeing
  • You will complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, aiming for 90% or above in Monthly Daily Charts Audits
  • Ensure you are 100% current with all mandatory training throughout the year
Essential Requirements for Care Assistant
  • A good reason or experience that has drawn them to care
  • Live within 20 minutes of the Home
Preferred Requirements for Care Assistant
  • One year’s experience of working in a residential or nursing home
  • Level 2 Health & Social Care or above
