A local council in the UK is seeking a Care Assistant to join the Dovecote Lodge Care Team. The role involves providing person-centred care and support in the Rehab and Recovery Unit, ensuring the dignity and independence of service users. Ideal candidates will have NVQ 2 in Social Care, at least two years of experience with older adults, and an understanding of safeguarding practices. We are looking for a Care Assistant as part of our Dovecote Lodge Care Team.
The purpose of this role is to support our Rehab and Recovery Unit and provide person-centred care and support for our service users.
You will work within the Rehab and Recovery Unit and provide person-centred care and support for the service users within this unit. You will communicate the needs of service users to management and maintain good relations between service users, staff, and visitors to the unit. You will enable the service users in the unit to maintain or regain their independence, individuality, and dignity.
