Overview

Care Assistant - day shifts - immediate start at Whetstone, N20.

Work flexibly around your family or other commitments; we can offer between 24 and 36 hours per week.

We are recruiting Care Assistants to our residential care homes in Barnet. We care for older persons and older persons living with dementia.

Responsibilities
  • Personal care, moving and handling, mealtime support, social activities, and other tasks required to support residents through their lives.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and health care professionals; keep the team leader informed of residents’ needs and progress.
  • Help residents live a full life, be more independent, enjoy daily activities, and exercise choice in day-to-day living.
  • Have residents feel safe, comfortable, and secure, whether assisting your team leader, completing care records, or helping someone eat their lunch.

What we need you to have

  • QCF 1-5 (or NVQ 2-3 in Care) is desirable.
