A family-owned care provider in Exeter seeks a Care Assistant to ensure residents enjoy their days with dignity and independence. The role involves assisting with personal care, maintaining a supportive environment, and adhering to care plans. Applicants should have compassion and a caring nature, with an NVQ Level 2 preferred. Our newly built care home is located in the charming suburb of Pinhoe, Exeter. We provide outstanding Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for 67 residents who deserve the very best in compassionate support.
As a Day Care Assistant at Alexander House, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents enjoy their days with dignity, independence, and personalised care. You will be part of a friendly, supportive team committed to making every day meaningful and comfortable for our residents.
What We Offer
Your Role
You will assist residents with daily activities such as dressing, eating, mobility, and personal care, always promoting independence and respect. Following individual care plans, you will observe and report on residents’ wellbeing, communicating any concerns to nursing staff.
You will encourage social engagement and support residents to enjoy a fulfilling day. Working alongside your care and housekeeping colleagues, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
