Overview

Role: Care & Support Assistant

Location: Alexandra House Residential Home, Poole, BH14 9EW

Pay: £12.50 - £12.75 per hour

Hours: Full-time and part-time hours available, including alternate weekend working

At Alexandra House, we’re looking for caring and compassionate people to join our Care Team. No prior care experience required if you have worked in customer service or community support, or have natural empathy. Induction and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and mobility needs
• Provide person-centred care to help residents feel safe and valued
• Support residents to stay independent and engaged in activities
• Build genuine friendships with residents and support a positive, team-focused atmosphere
• Tailor activities to residents’ interests and life stories
