Territory: South of Birmingham, ideally London-based but also happy to cover the South Coast, Wales and Plymouth.

Products: Innovative cardiothoracic surgical portfolio, including tools, implants, and technologies to support complex procedures and enhance surgical outcomes

THE ROLE:

As Cardiothoracic Specialist, you will be responsible for driving growth of the cardiothoracic product portfolio across the Southern UK territory. This is a newly created role with significant potential, where you will manage key relationships and develop new opportunities within both NHS and private hospitals.

Your responsibilities will include providing in-theatre support to surgeons and theatre staff during procedures, delivering training and education, and organising cadaveric workshops to drive adoption and product familiarity. You will also collaborate with regional managers and product specialists to identify strategic accounts and deliver long-term sales growth.

Given the demands of the theatre environment, flexibility is essential. This is not a typical 9-5 role but offers excellent earning potential for driven individuals. Comprehensive product training will be provided, alongside the opportunity to work with cutting-edge surgical technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

The Package for Cardiothoracic Specialist:

  • Basic: £40,000-£46,000
  • Commission: £12,000 uncapped
  • Car: Fully expensed company car & fuel card
  • Private medical care for you and your immediate family
  • An ‘opt-in’ dental plan
  • Critical illness insurance – 75% of basic salary after the deferred period of 26 weeks
  • Life insurance – 4x benefit of basic salary to be paid to named beneficiaries
  • 25 days’ holiday plus usual public holidays in England and Wales (or a day in lieu where we require you to work on a public holiday)
