CAD/CAM Technician (Progression to Prototype Machinist)

£35,000 - £40,000 + Training + Development Plan + Flexible start time + 37.5hr week + Work Events

Are you a CAD/CAM Technician or similar looking to expand your skillset in a fast‑paced environment that can offer a structured development plan to enable you to unlock your potential, becoming a highly skilled Prototype Machinist?

Do you want to work in a truly excellent environment, a 200,000 square foot innovation hub with over 120 high‑tech machining centres?

On offer is the opportunity to work for a well‑established manufacturing company that supplies into a wide range of industries. The company prides itself on investing into and training its staff, maintaining a clean working environment and providing autonomy for its engineers. It is expecting to grow revenue by 50% in the coming years, building on a solid reputation and supplying to clients like SpaceX.

In this role you will be working alongside a team of 30 CNC engineers, directly working with five engineers on a 200 thousand square‑foot site. Monday to Friday on a 37.5hr contract with flexible working hours. Day to day you will be working through the whole cycle of manufacturing from designing to producing the final product.
