You will collaborate with dedicated colleagues across Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Finance, contributing directly to operational excellence and continuous improvement across the site.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities to support production and site operations.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring quality, reliability, and competitive value.
  • Drive cost‑optimization initiatives through strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels using MRP/ERP tools to ensure timely availability of critical materials.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to support operational goals, problem‑solve challenges, and deliver continuous improvement projects.
  • Utilize data to generate insights, identify risks, and inform decision‑making.
  • Support compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA/ISO quality systems.
  • Occasionally travel to supplier sites to strengthen relationships and review performance.
Key Requirements
  • Strong track record in procurement/buying experience in a related manufacturing environment or commercial experience within the life science or chemical industry.
  • Preferred: Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering or related field.
  • Professional certification (APICS, CPIM, CSCP, CIPS) is a plus.
  • Strong ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Skilled in MRP, inventory management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
  • Proven problem‑solving capability with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience handling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of FDA/ISO regulations and quality systems (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Multilingual skills are valued, but not required.
