Construction Buyer

Location: Office‑based with project support
Salary: Competitive + package (dependent on experience)

The Role

As Construction Buyer, you will play a key role in supporting projects by managing procurement activities and ensuring materials and services are sourced efficiently, cost‑effectively, and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procuring materials, plant, and subcontract services for a range of construction projects
  • Working closely with site, commercial, and project teams to meet programme requirements
  • Managing supplier relationships and negotiating pricing and terms
  • Ensuring orders are placed accurately and delivered on schedule
  • Monitoring supply chain performance and resolving procurement issues
  • Supporting cost control and value‑for‑money initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation
About You
  • Previous experience as a Buyer within the construction industry (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials and supply chains
