Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Sales Executive with expertise in the pharmaceutical, food, and quality assurance industries. The role involves generating new business, managing client relationships, and promoting services/products related to regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and contract services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP, ISO) and the ability to connect with decision-makers across manufacturing and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the pharma, food, and quality assurance sectors.
- Promote company services/products including regulatory support, contract testing, QA/QC solutions, audits, and compliance services.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients including manufacturers, distributors, and quality leaders.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activity, and emerging industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations tailored to client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients.
- Collaborate with technical, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Maintain CRM records and prepare accurate weekly/monthly sales reports.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of pharma and food manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements (GMP, GDP, HACCP, ISO, MHRA, FDA, FSSAI, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with technical and senior stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital sales platforms.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Food Science, Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of sales/business development experience in pharma, food, testing, or QA/QC services.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and quality management systems.
