Overview

Farming approximately 1,650 hectares of arable and grassland with a large suckler herd taking all to progeny to finishing.

Role and responsibilities

• Reporting to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will have a key role in the financial management of the business, including budgeting, production management, marketing, compliance, human resources, and assist with strategic planning.
• An understanding of farming business is preferable; however, the key responsibilities of this role are financial management as the business has a team of eight staff including managers of the beef and arable enterprises.
• You will have the proven ability to motivate a team through effective communication.
• A degree or financial qualification to AAT level is desirable.
