About Our Client

Job Description

The Associate Attorney will join an established, fast-paced practice and will be responsible for the following:

  • Draft, prepare and file nonimmigrant visas (E-2, H-1B, L-1A/B Blanket and individual, and TN as well as employment-based green cards (PERM, EB-1(C) mostly).
  • Advise clients on business immigration processes and compliance requirements.
  • Draft legal documents and review case files for accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct legal research on immigration laws and policies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely submission of applications and petitions.
  • Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy to provide informed guidance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Immigration Associate should have:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • US State Bar Admission.
  • 3+ years of comprehensive, high-voume experience with nonimmigrant visas (E-2, H-1B, L-1A/B Blanket and individual, and TN as well as employment-based green cards (PERM, EB-1(C) mostly).
  • Strong experience with E-2 is highly preferred.
  • Must have excellent case writing and preparation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to handle a high volume of cases at any given time.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
