A leading global law firm is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to support its Digital, Data, IP & Tech (DDIT) and Digital Infrastructure/Tech Transactions groups within its M&A practice. This is a high-impact role for a commercially minded BD professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about innovation, technology, and client engagement.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to work closely with senior partners and lawyers across a broad range of product areas including:

  • Commercial contracts
  • Data protection
  • IP licensing and collaborations
  • Tech transactions and AI

The successful candidate will also co-lead global initiatives such as the international data protection BD community and lead Talking Tech Together, a flagship programme for senior women lawyers in tech.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and advise on business planning and BD strategy
  • Manage and deliver high-quality proposals and pitch materials
  • Support strategic client relationships and targeting efforts
  • Develop and execute integrated BD campaigns and events
  • Conduct client listening and feedback analysis
  • Provide market and client research to identify new opportunities
  • Oversee internal communications and BD tools
  • Collaborate with central teams and manage BD support resources
What We're Looking For
  • Substantial BD and marketing experience at Manager or Senior Executive level, ideally within professional services
  • Strong understanding or interest in the global tech, data, and commercial markets
