A leading specialist trade merchant is seeking a Business Development Manager to manage technical sales nationwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships, managing significant sales targets, and collaborating with various teams. Ideal candidates will have experience in technical sales and exceptional communication skills. Qualifications

  • Previous industry experience within technical sales would be ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strong work ethic and a drive to succeed.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • The ability to hold technical conversations with customers.
  • The ability to travel to meet customers throughout the country where needed.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager based nationally, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Building new and existing relationships with external customers
  • Business to Business technical sales with key regional accounts
  • Managing large sales ledgers and targets, circa £5m
  • Working with internal and external teams to deliver against targets
  • Manging your own time and being proactive in the marketplace

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 7.30am – 4.30pm or 8am

Requirements
