Business Development Manager - Tyne and Wear

Location: Newcastle, UK

Salary: £35,000 + bonus

Ranson Barnes Recruitment is proud to be working with our national client who are a market leader in their sector. Their Newcastle site are seeking a proactive Regional Account Manager to join the team in selling a bespoke service throughout the Tyne and Wear region.

Our client is seeking proactive individuals who aren't afraid to pick up the phone to generate business. It's a full sales cycle role to include cold/warm calls, on the road prospecting, client visits and account management. You must hold a valid UK driving licence as local travel is required.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and developing strong relationships with key clients by various means
  • Proactively source sales opportunities
  • Making outbound calls to prospective customers
  • Attending client visits and delivering presentations
  • Creating quotations alongside the sales support team
  • Negotiating on pricing
