The ideal candidate should have a strong background in B2B sales within the pressure-sensitive market, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude. This role is suitable for an experienced Sales Professional from a self-adhesive labelstock / material background – either from the supplier or customer side – convertors, printers and packers. Our long-established client is a leading self-adhesive labels, tickets and tags manufacturer with a reputation for innovation and customer service. Sector-leading expertise and resources combine to ensure that their reputation is based on the core values of service, trust and innovation. Continuous profitable growth has been driven by product innovation, design and development – with a particular focus in the digital and drinks sectors. They design, develop and manufacture labelling solutions all under one roof for a range of customers that includes convertors, printers and packers. These solutions then go on to be part of the packaging for some of the world’s best known brands across a multitude of sectors. Working with suppliers, customers, (and their customers), they ensure best-in-class performance and functionality.
An opportunity now exists for an experienced Business Development Manager to continue to grow and expand their Northern UK territory, which has seen significant expansion during the last decade and more. Reporting to the Sales Director, the role will involve the day-to-day management and development of existing accounts.
The candidate must have a very strong track record of growing sales in a B2B commodity market while being able to demonstrate strong people skills.
