Overview

£40k plus quarterly bonus OTE £60k

Long established European Inbound tour operator seeks a Business Development Manager to account manage key clients and to develop new business from their long haul English speaking and European markets. You will work closely with the Quotations and Operations teams, ensuring they understand the client needs.

Responsibilities
  • Account manage key clients and develop new business from long haul English speaking and European markets.
  • Collaborate with Quotations and Operations teams to ensure client needs are understood and reflected in proposals and itineraries.
  • Present and launch new itineraries, with a focus on specialised tours in areas such as Performing Arts, Culinary, History, Geography, Science, Sports, and The Arts.
  • Prepare detailed group tour itineraries and operate group tours (sales and account management background advantageous).
  • Attend major trade shows and events, especially in the USA and Canada, to meet existing clients and develop new contacts.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience in tour operations and product development.
  • Strong sales and account management background.
  • Ability to present and launch new itineraries tailored to client needs.
  • Willingness to travel for trade shows and client meetings.

  • Commission on all confirmed groups, paid in the month the group travels.
