We’re recruiting on behalf of a privately owned, fast-growing UK business operating in a specialist B2B environment. The company works with organisations of varying sizes, delivering tailored solutions designed around customer requirements.

This role is a new addition to the sales function, joining a small but growing team of two sales professionals who were hired earlier this year as part of the company’s expansion plans.

The role

As a Business Development Executive, you’ll be responsible for winning new business and growing revenue through proactive outreach and relationship-building. You’ll manage opportunities from first conversation through to close, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure customer needs are clearly understood and delivered against.

Responsibilities
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and targeted outreach
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to close
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers
  • Confidently discuss solutions, pricing, and availability
  • Collaborate with internal teams to shape the right‑fit offering
  • Maintain accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to build relationships and pipeline
Requirements
