A local authority client in Greater London is seeking a Business Continuity Manager to oversee the development of Emergency Plans and Business Continuity procedures. The role requires expert knowledge of preparedness issues and the ability to manage complex relationships within local government. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in similar roles and excellent communication skills. Proven Business Continuity Manager required to help our local authority client determine strategic resilience priorities and objectives to deliver a comprehensive Emergency Plans and Business Continuity procedures for the organisation. You will also review, revise as necessary and maintain the Corporate Business Continuity plan, to provide guidance notes and codes of practice in support of the policy and to lead activities, workshops, etc to ensure the Policy is brought to the attention of staff.
The ideal candidate will have recently completed a similar role for another Council.
