A leading Wealth Management firm in London seeks an experienced Business Analyst to drive changes in Investment Operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analysis and BI tools, along with strong analytical skills. This role entails providing support across the department and ensuring operational efficiency. Knowledge of wealth management or financial services is essential.
The role is a 12 month FTC.
An established and widely known Wealth Management firm.
The Business Analyst will work with the Investment Operations and Custodian Services business teams to drive technological, regulatory and business improvements across the Investment Operations department.
The successful candidate must have Business Analyst experience specifically within Investment Operations.
The Business Analyst will focus on implementing change within the Investment Operations function to meet the needs of a rapidly growing Wealth Management business, ensuring a smooth and efficient service is delivered to clients and business units.
The Business Analyst will provide analytical support across the Investment Operations and Custodian department to keep pace with the changing environment. Support the planning and delivery of projects such as implementing new functionality or Investment Operations systems or enhancing existing processes.
The Business Analyst will produce meaningful and accurate MI and KPIs that are well-presented, contribute to Custodian Services policy and procedural reviews, with a view to achieving improved investment operational efficiency, regulatory or audit compliance.
The Business Analyst will build strong working relationships with all key Custodian Services stakeholders (the Front Office, IT, Compliance, Risk etc.)
MUST HAVE Business Analyst / Change Analyst experience specifically within Investment Operations.
Advanced Excel (specific experience with data analysis)
Experience with BI visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI)
SQL is desirable, or a willingness to learn
Wealth management and/or Financial Services experience, gained within an Investment Operations support environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, validate and draw conclusions from large numerical data sets
Experience in managing projects covering business change and IT
