Nuffield Health is Britain’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organisation. Join our busy Business Administration team as a Business Administrator working in our Brighton Hospital offices and play your part in building a healthier nation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the financial administration of patient accounts
  • Provide excellent stakeholder/customer service at all times
  • Ensure that information received from external stakeholders (e.g. medical secretaries, patients) meets the minimum level of compliance
  • Check and update where necessary, the details provided by patients to the invoicing system
  • Help with month end tasks
  • Resolve Data Quality issues
  • Support any other Business Administration requirements within the department
To succeed as Business Administrator, you will
  • Have experience in working in a busy customer business support function
  • Have a strong attention to detail
  • Be a confident communicator with proven experience of dealing with customer queries
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Be confident in working with numbers and large volumes of data
  • Be educated to GCSE level in English and Maths
  • Have an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Have excellent IT skills (Outlook/Excel/Word)
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with key stakeholders within the business
About Exeter Hospital

The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. The hospital has 2 theatres, as well as a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre and an Endoscopy suite. There are two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. We also have a busy outpatient department, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and radiology department including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery, cardiology including invasive procedures, general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT, and gynaecology. The Hospital has a MAKO robot that undertakes some of the joint replacement surgery which we have become well known for in this field of surgery.
