A major UK transport operator is seeking PCV Bus Drivers for a long-term shuttle contract in Ipswich. This role offers stable hours, free accommodation, and requires flexibility in start and finish times. A major UK transport operator is recruiting PCV Bus Drivers for a long-term ongoing shuttle contract supporting a high-security engineering project. This role is ideal for experienced drivers seeking stable hours, structured duties, and accommodation included at no cost.
Drivers will operate a fixed shuttle service, transporting site personnel between designated pick-up points and a major infrastructure facility.
No dealing with the general public, no cash handling, and far less day-to-day stress than typical route work.
Approx. 56 hours of driving per day
39 hours minimum per week (overtime available)
Free accommodation with facilities (kitchen, gym, pool, etc.)
Long-term, ongoing work with consistent shift patterns
Work involves driving in and out of a major engineering site
Drivers will see the project evolve daily
Drivers must be fully flexible within operational times:
Earliest start: 03:00
Latest finish: 23:00

Minimum 1 year UK bus driving experience
Full Manual PCV Licence
Valid CPC and Digi Card
Maximum 6 points on licence
Immediate availability
No notice periods
Strong spoken English
Able to provide 5 years living and working history
Clean record
Must pass strict background checks (no criminal convictions)
PAYE Weekday: £16.25 / hr
PAYE + Holiday Weekday: £18.21 / hr
Drivers will complete one week of mandatory training, followed by a short break, then return to full operational duties in early January.

Confidence with manual transmission is essential.
